I’m Dr Nita Bartlett — a specialist breast and general surgeon in Townsville, Queensland.
I’ve called Townsville home since 2019, where it has been my privilege to treat patients from all over north Queensland.
Prior to this, I practiced Surgery for over 25 years in the UK, New Zealand and Australia. I was awarded specialist qualifications by the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
In 2018, I completed subspecialist training and a Masters in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery through BreastSurgANZ and the University of Sydney, joining an increasing legion of surgeons world-wide who integrate cancer surgery that removes disease while preserving the cosmetic appearance of the breast.
